Scotland's Archie Goodburn, 25, finished tied last in the 50m breaststroke final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow — and received the biggest roar of the night. Diagnosed in May 2024 with three inoperable oligodendrogliomas, he has been given roughly a decade to live. New treatment has slowed the tumours' growth. Two years on, he swam a home-Games final.
