ITV wins exclusive UK rights to 2027 Rugby World Cup, beating BBC

ITV will broadcast all 52 matches of the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia live and free-to-air across the UK, after World Rugby named it the exclusive domestic partner. ITV beat the BBC to the rights. The deal extends ITV's unbroken run as UK home of the men's tournament to a tenth consecutive edition, dating back to 1991. The 24-team tournament opens on 1 October 2027.
