Norris wins 2026 Hungarian GP for McLaren's first victory of the season

Lando Norris won the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix on 26 July, beating Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli. The reigning world champion started from pole, lost the lead to teammate Oscar Piastri on lap one, then hounded him within 0.8 seconds for nearly 40 laps before reclaiming the front around half-distance. It was McLaren's first win of 2026. Norris called it "one of my best performances."
