Norros wins Hungarian GP from pole — first 2026 victory for McLaren and the reigning champion

Lando Norris converted pole to victory at the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix, giving McLaren their first win of the season and the reigning world champion his first of the year. Max Verstappen finished second, Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli third. Norris's teammate Oscar Piastri had passed him for the lead at Turn 1 before a gearbox failure ended his race, handing the lead back to Norris.
