Norris wins Hungarian GP as McLaren pit-call fractures team-mate relationship with Piastri

Lando Norris won the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring after McLaren refused his request to pit first for his second stop, instead calling Oscar Piastri in early. Norris stayed out six laps longer, returning just ahead of Piastri, who told his engineer: "Don't talk to me." Piastri retired on lap 56 with a gearbox failure.
