PBS SoCal leads 78th LA Area Emmys with 8 wins from 29 nominations

PBS SoCal took the most trophies at the 78th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards on 25 July 2026, winning 8 of its 29 nominations across arts, education and social-issue categories. The ceremony, at the Skirball Cultural Center, covered the 2025 calendar year. Univision's KMEX won 7; Telemundo's KVEA won 6, sweeping both Spanish-language newscast slots.
