Prime Video sets 7 October 2026 for eight-episode 'Carrie' series

Prime Video will release its eight-episode "Carrie" series on 7 October 2026, the platform announced at a Saturday San Diego Comic-Con panel alongside the first teaser trailer and cast photos. Mike Flanagan created the adaptation — the first TV series taken from Stephen King's 1974 debut novel. Summer H. Howell leads the cast as Carrie White, chosen from more than a thousand auditions.
