David Jonsson Cast as T'Challa's Son and Lead of Black Panther 3

Marvel announced at San Diego Comic-Con that David Jonsson will play T'Challa's son and lead Black Panther 3, a coming-of-age story set for release on 15 December 2028. Ryan Coogler returns as director; Leticia Wright reprises Shuri. Jonsson, known for Rye Lane and Alien: Romulus, inherits the centre of a franchise whose two prior films grossed a combined $2.1 billion worldwide, per Variety.
