Ryan Gosling cast as Ghost Rider in standalone MCU film, Feige announces at Comic-Con

Ryan Gosling will play Ghost Rider in a standalone Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige announced at San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H on 26 July 2026, per Variety. Shawn Levy, who directed Deadpool & Wolverine, will direct. The film is slated for 2028. Gosling follows Nicolas Cage, who led Sony's 2007 and 2011 Ghost Rider films before rights reverted to Marvel Studios.
