
Ipswich sign Celtic's Daizen Maeda for £10m — first Japanese player in club history
Ipswich Town have signed Japan forward Daizen Maeda from Celtic for a reported £10m on a three-year deal. The 28-year-old, a 2026 World Cup squad member, leaves Glasgow after 79 goals in 212 appearances and ten major trophies. He becomes the first Japanese player in Ipswich's history as they prepare for their Premier League return under Gary O'Neil.
