Bush and Bell clash over Gaza genocide label and Israel aid at St. Louis forum

Former Rep. Cori Bush and Rep. Wesley Bell sparred over Israel at a July 24, 2026, St. Louis Public Radio forum. Bush cited Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International to call Israel's Gaza campaign a genocide and said she would cut off U.S. military aid. Bell declined the genocide label and has voted against House Democratic efforts to halt that aid.
