Duncan Scott retained his men's 200m individual medley title at Glasgow 2026 on July 24, winning Scotland's first gold in a Commonwealth record 1:56.38. The 29-year-old touched first at Tollcross — the same pool where he won his first Commonwealth medal aged 17 in 2014. Lewis Clareburt (NZL) took silver, Tom Dean (ENG) bronze. Scott is now the most decorated Scottish athlete of all time.
