Man charged with murder of former minister Ann Widdecombe

Joshua Kerry, 28, from Rotherham, has been charged with the murder of former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe, the BBC reported on 20 July. Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her Dartmoor home with serious head injuries. The case now enters the criminal courts, where reporting restrictions will apply.
