Apple Maps Ads Will Ban All Home Services Businesses

Apple's advertising guidelines for its forthcoming Maps ad product categorically prohibit home services businesses — plumbing, electrical, locksmithing, HVAC, pest control, roofing, and general contracting — from advertising. The ban appears in Section 2.13 of Apple's consolidated programming policies. Maps ads are expected to launch in summer 2026 in the US and Canada.
