New York Used AI to Scan Its Entire Regulatory Code in Months

New York Governor Kathy Hochul said her team used AI to analyze every rule and policy across the state, completing in roughly two months a review she estimated would have taken five years of staff time. Hochul disclosed the effort on Bloomberg's Odd Lots podcast and intends to use the findings to eliminate outdated regulations.
