EU Tells Apple to Open Siri to Rivals; No EU Launch Date Set

The European Commission ordered Apple to give third-party AI assistants the same system and data access as Siri under the Digital Markets Act. Apple asked for 18 months to comply; the Commission refused. Apple now says Siri AI will not launch in Europe, and no public timeline for an EU release exists.
