Period Tracker Stardust Shared Reproductive Data Externally Despite Privacy Claims, Mozilla Finds

Mozilla found period tracking app Stardust sends users' birthdate, birth control type, reproductive goals, and symptoms to third-party analytics provider RudderStack, linked to a unique identifier. Of six apps tested, Stardust was the only one sharing health data externally. Its website states: "Your data is private. Period."
