Monaco Bomb Victim Points Finger at Ukrainian Intelligence Leadership

Businessman Vadym Iermolaiev, recovering in intensive care after a Monaco bombing that left his partner with "catastrophic and irreversible injuries" and injured their 13-year-old son, accused serving GUR (Ukraine's military intelligence agency) officers of organising the assassination. His lawyers' July 16 statement challenges prosecutors' claim that a lone rogue officer acted alone. The suspected bomber was later found dead near Kyiv.
