Messi becomes first MLS player to win Golden Boot in consecutive seasons

Lionel Messi has won the MLS Golden Boot, the league's top-scorer award, in consecutive seasons. He is the first player in MLS history to do so. The Inter Miami captain scored 26 goals in 31 appearances, four clear of FC Dallas's Peter Musa. He is also only the sixth player to win the award twice.
