EU Preliminarily Finds TikTok's 'Not Interested' Button May Not Change Its Feed

The European Commission has preliminarily found that TikTok breached the Digital Services Act through its For You recommender. It said tapping 'not interested' may not be enough to change the feed. Proposed remedies include disabling viewing time as a recommendation signal. Confirmation could bring a fine of up to 6% of ByteDance's global revenue. TikTok rejects the findings.
