Vatican says Pope Leo XIV is healthy and needs no extra measures for South America trip

The Vatican said on 3 November that Pope Leo XIV, 71, is healthy and needs no extra measures for his 6–17 November trip to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru. The pope underwent lung cancer surgery on 13 October, according to Reuters. The 12-day trip is his first to South America.
