Ocado chair quietly hunts for new CEO as founder left in the dark
Ocado chair Adam Warby began searching for a new CEO without consulting founder Tim Steiner, The Guardian reported on July 16, 2026. Steiner said he was "not standing in the way" of a successor but wouldn't say if he and Warby could keep working together. The rift surfaced as shares hit a decade-low and pre-tax profits collapsed from £607m to £17m.
