Dollhouse Pictures secures screen option on Bri Lee's novel The Work

Sydney production collective Dollhouse Pictures has secured a screen option on Bri Lee's bestselling novel The Work, Deadline reported on 4 November 2026. An option is an exclusive right to develop a book for screen; no series has been commissioned. Rights were negotiated with UTA. Hannah Lehmann is creating the TV series, with Screen Australia supporting development.
