Sherwood Forest film takes sales to AFM before filming starts

Logical Pictures International and Protagonist Pictures are launching sales on "The Lie of Sherwood Forest" at the American Film Market, Variety reported on 4 November 2026. Production begins 9 November, so the film is pitched to buyers before shooting finishes. Augenschein and Logical Pictures Group are financing the German-produced film, a ZDF co-production starring Thomasin McKenzie and Finn Cole.
