Matching Engine expected to help distribute more than €1.2 billion in songwriter royalties

Matching Engine, used by collection societies IMRO, SOCAN, TONO and Koda across 13 countries, is expected to help distribute more than €1.2 billion (over US$1.3 billion) in royalties to songwriters, performers and publishers, Music Business Worldwide reported. Spanish Point Technologies' platform, launched in 2018, works out which songs were used and who is owed.
