Prem Rugby plans to grow from 10 to 12 teams by 2030/31

The BBC reports Prem Rugby plans to expand from 10 to 12 teams by the 2030/31 season. New clubs would first spend at least one season in the second-tier Championship and buy a P-Share, a league stake thought to be worth around £20m. The Welsh Rugby Union has approached the league about an Anglo-Welsh competition, but no decision is announced.
