Cannes chief Thierry Frémaux says French film model is spreading abroad
Cannes Film Festival chief Thierry Frémaux said French money, the CNC and French professionals are "absolutely everywhere" in world cinema. Speaking at the CNC's 80th-anniversary event in Paris on 26-28 October, he said many countries are developing film-restoration programmes on the French model, Variety reported.
