Gunn Says Harley Quinn Will Almost Certainly Appear in the DC Universe, but Robbie's Return Is Unclear

James Gunn, co-head of DC Studios, said on his podcast The Suicide Squad: Is It Canon? that Harley Quinn is almost certain to appear in the DC Universe, Deadline reported on 29 October 2026. He does not know whether Margot Robbie wants to play her again. If she does not, he might cast someone else; no replacement is named.
