Welsh Rugby Union plans to explore a future in English club rugby

The Welsh Rugby Union has told the Professional Rugby Board it plans to explore a future in the English club game. English club sources confirm WRU interest but say no negotiations are taking place. Any move would need RFU approval, as a Welsh side in England's top league, the Prem, would make it cross-border.
