Trump International Airport Opens in Florida, But Booking Code Changes August 18

Palm Beach International Airport officially renamed itself President Donald J. Trump International Airport on July 9, 2026, under Florida law. The FAA now lists it as DJT instead of PBI. Airlines and ticketing systems won't switch until August 18, so passengers must still book and check bags using PBI for six weeks, even though both names apply depending on which system you check.
