Budget raises business rates cut for UK pubs, clubs and music venues to 35%

Pubs, clubs and music venues across the UK will have business rates cut by 35%, Chancellor John Healey announced in the Budget on 28 October. The figure is up from the 20% cut set out in July. The relief now covers venues with a rateable value, a building's official rental estimate, under £1 million.
