Kherson-Region Ceasefire Extended to Aid Occupied Oleshky; Evacuations Planned for Friday
A ceasefire that began Tuesday to let food and medicine reach Russian-occupied Oleshky has been extended across the wider Kherson region, the BBC reports. Both sides say it is being observed. Aid deliveries are to be followed by evacuations planned for Friday for anyone wishing to leave. About 1,700 to 2,000 people remain in the town. The truce runs until 1 November.
