San Francisco Mansion Sells for $28.5 Million, a Record for the City

A mansion at 20 Cherry Street in San Francisco's Presidio Wall area sold for $28.5 million on 22 October, $10 million above its 2 October asking price of $18.5 million. The sale was described as a new record for the city. The eight-bedroom house, built in 1966, had been owned by one family for over 40 years.
