A24's Elden Ring movie reportedly set to cost almost US$200 million

A24's live-action Elden Ring movie is reportedly set to cost almost US$200 million, according to a Wall Street Journal report relayed by Eurogamer on 25 October 2026. If that figure holds, it would be A24's most expensive film, nearly three times the reported US$70 million cost of Marty Supreme. Alex Garland writes and directs the film.
