Federal Filings Show Musk Gave $158 Million Routed to Pro-Paxton Super PAC

Federal filings show Elon Musk gave $158 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, which sent the same amount to Texas PAC, a Republican super PAC (an outside group that spends independently of candidates) backing Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race. Democrat James Talarico, Paxton's opponent, accused Musk of trying to buy the seat.
