Cinépolis takes Latin American rights to Spanish thriller 5 More Minutes, a departure from its usual deals

Cinépolis has acquired Latin American distribution rights to the Spanish time-warping thriller 5 More Minutes, directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera. Miguel Rivera, the chain's VP of global programming and content, said Cinépolis normally picks up only Mexican rights to films, about 90% of the time. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on January 28, 2027.
