The Ebola outbreak in Congo's Ituri Province, caused by the Bundibugyo strain of the virus, has no approved vaccine or treatment. The Associated Press has described it as the fastest-spreading Ebola outbreak in history. A September AP report said it was spreading faster than efforts to track and contain it, and had likely not yet peaked.
