Suspected Tornadoes and Golf Ball-Size Hail Hit Arizona

The National Weather Service suspects at least three tornadoes touched down across central Arizona late Wednesday, October 21. The same storms produced golf ball-sized hail that pummeled roofs, shattered windows and damaged vehicles in northern and central Arizona. On Thursday, much of Arizona was under tornado and flood watches, meaning conditions favor those hazards.
