Rebel Wilson wins countersuit against The Deb co-producers, court awards $359,000

NSW Supreme Court Justice Elisabeth Peden awarded Rebel Wilson $359,000 plus interest on her countersuit against The Deb co-producers Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden, the Guardian reported on 22 October 2026. The producers received $10 in damages, and their summons was otherwise dismissed. Wilson directed and starred in The Deb, which had a $22 million budget.
