Neil Bush, a lifelong Republican and son of former president George H.W. Bush, says he voted early for Democrat James Talarico over Republican Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race. He announced his vote on Facebook on October 21, 2026, about two weeks before the midterm elections. Bush said he was "deeply troubled" by Paxton's conduct.
