Warner Music Group merges recorded music and publishing sync teams into one global organisation

Warner Music Group announced on 21 October 2026 that it is merging its recorded music and publishing sync teams into one global organisation. Sync, the licensing of songs for film, TV, adverts and games, will run through one structure led by Ron Broitman, President, Global Sync. The company expects streamlined clearances to speed turnaround, without saying by how much.
