Iga Swiatek has ended her 2026 season early with a left thigh injury. She withdrew from the Ningbo Open, the WTA confirmed. The call followed treatment on the same leg during her Wuhan semi-final defeat to Maja Chwalinska. Swiatek called 2026 "one of the most challenging" seasons of her career, BBC Sport reported. She will rest before returning in 2027.
