South Africa declared on 425-9 — closing the innings to bowl — in the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha after slipping to 110-6. Temba Bavuma made 179 and Marco Jansen 85. Scott Boland took 5-81. Kagiso Rabada removed Nic Maddinson in the first over as Australia reached 3-1, trailing by 422 runs.
