Paddy Power owner Flutter plans to cut up to 1,400 jobs over UK tax rises
Flutter Entertainment, owner of Paddy Power and Sky Bet, plans to cut up to 1,400 jobs in its UK and Ireland business. The company blames higher UK gambling taxes. The cuts would affect more than 10% of its 8,960 staff in the region, including workers in Leeds, Dublin and Sunderland.
