Dana Carvey said he 'just didn't understand the kerfuffle' over Shane Gillis's 10 Oct SNL monologue, calling it 'a joke,' Variety reported on 20 Oct. He spoke on Fly on the Wall with David Spade. The seven-season SNL alumnus said the gym joke probably 'destroyed' in clubs but SNL was maybe 'not the right place' for it.
