New Google Home Speakers Hit by Heavy Background Download Bug

Some new Google Home Speakers are downloading hundreds of gigabytes in the background, owners report. One Reddit user logged over 200GB in a day, while router readings showed 132GB in a month against 2GB for a normal unit. The cases were reported via Reddit and 9to5Google.
