Flipkart Tests Food Delivery With Staff Before Bengaluru Launch

Flipkart, owned by Walmart, is testing food delivery with more than 8,000 employees before its planned launch in Bengaluru. The staff-only option shows as a separate tab in the main Flipkart app, beside Minutes quick shopping and travel. Restaurants come from ONDC, India's open e-commerce network, plus direct sign-ups, in a market Bernstein puts at 18% to 20% annual growth.
