Sony and Universal ask court to force Suno investor Lightspeed to testify

Sony Music and Universal Music Group asked a Boston federal court on 13 October to order Lightspeed Venture Partners to produce documents and testify about Suno, according to the filing reported by Music Business Worldwide. The labels seek answers on the “legal risk of training data” for Suno’s fair-use defence and whether alleged infringement was wilful.
