Opportunity Party doubles support under Wong, but clearing Parliament threshold remains uncertain

The Opportunity Party has surged to 6.5 percent in the latest Roy Morgan poll, more than double its January standing under new leader Qiulae Wong. A separate 1News/Verian poll puts support at 4.6 percent. Both sit near the five percent threshold parties need to enter Parliament ahead of the 7 November election.
