CBS News correspondent Jan Crawford deleted an X post about Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed's Michigan town hall and apologised on 18 Oct, Variety reported. Crawford wrote on X: "I deleted that tweet because it was a violation of CBS News standards. I apologize." CBS News declined to make executives available for comment.
